The Graves mud crab was a species of animal from the Devil's Bath region of Tukayyid, a volcanic region of geysers, granite, and mud pits. Widely eaten in the region, the crab was commonly studied by xenobiologists seeking to export it to similar regions in other worlds, but all efforts by 3250 had failed; the crab was too dependent on nutrients specific to the Devil's Bath.[1]
