Overview
Paint Schemes
The Destroyers’ do no not have a uniform paint scheme, its warriors opting instead for personal designs when eschewing appropriate camouflage. However, several sub-commands adopt uniform paint schemes on occasions: the Sword of Gideon is gray with green and purple trim; the TekCom Raiders use predominantly white; the PolyTech Weasels favor neon and disruptive camouflage, and the Black Death invariably paint their machines flat black. In the ilClan era, many MechWarriors have taken to using a yellow and red-orange paint scheme in honor of the founding colonel and his BattleMech.[1]
Notes
On the old BattleTech Forums, Ray Arrastia's signature block was "Colonel, Gideon's Destroyers." This (and House Gideon) is almost certainly a canonization of that unit, which also featured an unseen Marauder of similar colorings as those above. His current forum signature block features a redesigned Marauder in the same color scheme.
