Gerhardt Bernhard was a notable reconnaissance officer in the Second Battalion of the Twenty-sixth Lyran Guards.[1]
History
Sergeant Bernhard first rose to prominence during the Fourth Succession War, where his scout work proved key in achieving numerous tactical victories in the fighting against the Draconis Combine. Bernhard's preferred tactic was to sneak past the Kuritans' flanks before racing into their rear areas while radioing critical information back to the Twenty-sixth Guards' BattleMech forces. Rumors also claimed that Bernhard delivered several teams of Loki agents into the Combine's rear as well, although he never personally confirmed this. By 3073, Bernhard had been promoted to leutnant and continued to serve with the Twenty-sixth Lyran Guards.[1]
