Gavin Ellis was one of the original Knights of the Inner Sphere, his personal sigil was a lion wielding a sword.

Operation SERPENT
During Operation SERPENT, Ellis commanded First Company, First Battalion of the First Knights of the Inner Sphere.[1] Ellis was among the first soldiers from the Inner Sphere to encounter ProtoMechs.[2]
