Gaius Dillford was the commanding officer of the Marian Hegemony's V Legio as of 3081.[2]
History
Legatus Dillford, commanding the V Legio's Prima Cohors, was stationed on Lothario in 3067.[3] In 3081, Prefect Dillford and the entire V Legio rebelled against the Hegemony following the Dragonslayers' massacre of civilians on Valerius. Dillford personally broadcasted a message across the Lothario District calling for the end of Marian oppression of the Lothian people and the V Legio, alongside Lothian guerrilla fighters, soon defeated all Hegemony loyalists on Lothario. When some loyalists attempted to enact their own guerrilla campaign, Dillford's rebel allies directed the V Legio in taking apart the Marian holdouts. The only thing that prevented Lothario from outright declaring independence from the Hegemony was the absence of leaders aside from Dillford, although by 3085 the V Legio remained on Lothario in order to watch over its people.[2][1]
