Ferdinand was a notable officer of Clan Jade Falcon's police sub-caste during the Dark Age Era.[1]
History
While initially seen as a ristar in Clan Jade Falcon, Star Commander Ferdinand's defeat in two subsequent Trials of Bloodright for the Icaza Bloodname left him with no sponsors for his third attempt at securing his own Bloodname. After entering a Grand Melee for placement in the Trial, Ferdinand suffered a severe knee injury that left him incapable of remaining in the Clan's touman. After being reassigned to Hammarr's police force with only a sidearm for protection, Ferdinand took advantage of his superior officer's lax behavior to successfully challenge her to a Trial of Position for the title of district chief inspector and the rank of Point Commander. He would then go on to win in a Trial of Possession for a new suit of battle armor, which lead to a significant reduction in Laborer Caste unrest—and a significantly-reduced survival rate for those civilians who still chose to cause trouble.[1]
