Erwin von Trapp was the commanding officer of the Third Calderon Guard as of 3084.[1]
History
In 3084, Colonel von Trapp and the Third Calderon Guard were stationed on the world of Diik when it was raided by pirates seeking to steal from the local Protectorate Arms plant. Both sides made good use of their conventional assets, leading to the defeat of the pirates at the cost of six Third Guard MechWarriors—including von Trapp. Colonel von Trapp's successor as unit commander later named the tank company that drove off the pirates von Trapp's Boys, which the tankers bore with pride.[1]
