Elsa Granelli was a schoolteacher and Regulan spy on Gibson. On 13 August 3072, when the 4th Regulan Hussars invaded the Word of Blake-controlled planet, a Regulan soldier located and killed her, believing her to be a Blakist spy instead. The local Blakist media took advantage of the killing, showing footage of her death and using her as a symbol of Regulan brutality.[1]
