Captain Ehud Green was a MechWarrior, who served in the Twentieth Avalon Hussars Regimental Combat Team's Eighth Company, as of 3028.[3]

History

War College of Goshen

An alumnus of the War College of Goshen, Green graduated first in his class in 3019, and remained there on secondment as an instructor until 3026.[1]

Crazy Eights

Following his extended stint at the War College, Green was assigned to command Eighth Company ("the Crazy Eights") of the Twentieth Avalon Hussars' Charlie Battalion, to replaced the recently deceased Captain Jayanti Zibler. Despite skepticism from his experienced subordinates over his lack of combat experience, Green performed well during the Operation GALAHAD training exercises, which allayed their concerns. While Green was never an exceptional MechWarrior, he was an excellent small unit tactician, which allowed him to repeated lead his unit to victory.[1]

During the Fourth Succession War Green was responsible for a famous victory over a Battalion of the Fourth Confederation Reserve Cavalry on Styk, where an ambush he planned with the Crazy Eights acting as bait, allowed the Hussars' heavy armor to destroy the Capellan Confederation unit. With the Crazy Eights left on Styk as part of its garrison after the world was secured[4], Green became withdrawn, and ultimately retired from the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns after the war.[1][3]

Vagabond School

Taking up a role as a teacher in a Vagabond School after his retirement from military service, Green focused on teaching until 3045, when he briefly assumed command of a local planetary militia in order to drive off a pirate band. In 3048 after a visit from a number of his former comrades in arms, Green was convinced to attend an Avalon Hussars reunion, but tragically died in a DropShip accident en route to the event.[1][2]

BattleMech

Green was known to have piloted a GRF-1N Griffin BattleMech.[3]
