Major General Dorcelina DeSouza was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's XXII Corps as of 2764.[1]
History
A veteran of Operation SMOTHER, as commanding officer of a Corps stationed within the Draconis Combine, DeSouza focused her deployments on the Federated Suns border with the goal of preventing the two states again coming to blows. She also ensured her units regularly made public demonstrations, as part of training, to discourage adventurism by either the Federation or Combine.
DeSouza had reputedly come to believe SLDF command had doubts about her loyalty as of 2764, due to a Division from another Army being posted to her headquarters on Junction for cross-training, which resulted in her being distracted from her duties. This reaction to the Ninety-fifth Royal Jump Infantry Division assignment, ironically caused some to question her command abilities.[1]
