Do Sy Truscott was the commanding officer of the Twenty-fourth Crucis Lancers Armored Regiment of the Eighth Crucis Lancers as of 3062.[2]
History
Leftenant General Truscott, serving with the Eighth Crucis Lancers, was stationed on Mara in 3062.[2]
During the Federated Commonwealth Civil War, Truscott and the Eighth Lancers were on Proserpina when the forces of the First Sword of Light, First Ghost Regiment, and Forty-sixth Dieron Regulars arrived to liberate the planet. The Eighth Lancers did not last long against such overwhelming force and, in the final days before the Lancers were destroyed, Truscott personally lead a last-ditch assault spearheaded by Pilum heavy tanks. While this effort did not change the outcome of the battle, Truscott's tankers were personally credited with destroying numerous Combine BattleMechs by Sho-sho Shin Yodama.[1]
