Derric Osterfield was a hovercraft commander in the Sixteenth Galedon Regulars during the Dark Age.[1]
History
During the Draconis Combine's conquest of McGehee, Shujin Osterfield and his crew encountered a reconnaissance lance from the Federated Suns' Fourth Robinson Strikers. Osterfield jammed the enemy unit's communications and, determined not to let them escape, charged his vehicle directly into the middle of the recon lance. This move caught the lance by surprise, with Osterfield proceeding to ram and flip a Goblin before shattering the rear of a Demon in a hail of missile fire. This aggressive action prevented the rest of the Davion forces on-planet from learning of the Sixteenth Regulars' movements, enabling them to capture Clatterbuck City the following day.[1]
Combat Vehicle
Shujin Derric Osterfield commanded a Cizin hovercraft named Dagger during the battle of McGehee.[1]
