The Der Samthandschuh ("The velvet glove") was an Overlord-class Dropship in service with the Lyran Commonwealth as of 3137, when it was the venue of a meeting between Trillian Steiner and Duke Vedet Brewer during Operation HAMMERFALL at the Nadir Jump Point of Pingree.[1]
