Captain David Albion was a member of the 10th Deneb Light Cavalry during the War of 3039, and then the planning staff of Duke James Sandoval.[1][2]
History
Albion, while still a Leftenant, commanded a recon lance of the 10th Deneb Light Cavalry on Marduk during the Battle of Marduk. His lance, comprising three Javelins and a Valkyrie, attacked an isolated but more powerful armor company from the Eighth Galedon Regulars in an attempt to impress Duke Sandoval, then on-world. Using their superior mobility and striking power, Albion's lance manage to disable six Demolishers and two Behemoths before the Kurita tanks retreated, at the cost of only one 'Mech.
After this engagement Albion was promoted to Captain and transferred to Duke Sandoval's planning staff, with a focus on developing tactics for light 'Mechs to use against heavy tanks.[1][2]

Albion was known to pilot a Javelin BattleMech.[1][2]
