Damian Ling was a notable MechWarrior in the Second McCarron's Armored Cavalry Regiment.[1]
History
Si-ben-bing Ling was best known for his ability to avoid attention from others. He intentionally cultivated an environment where he could observe without being observed himself and was neither liked or disliked within the Second McCarron's Armored Cavalry. In combat, Ling preferred to hold back while his comrades engaged with their foes so as to better exploit opportunities, which the other members of his lance adapted to by learning to fight without him while being willing to accept the well-timed arrival of his firepower.[1]
