Daitama Muraki was a Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery officer from the Fourth An Ting Legion during the Clan Invasion.[1]
History
Daitama Muraki was the XO of the Fourth An Ting Legion when Clan Smoke Jaguar invaded Itabaiana. When Sho-sho Jophet Pati died[2], he lead the survivors into the mountains.[3]
There were no news from the survivors and when forces from Clan Nova Cat invaded Itabaiana in January 3052 the planetary government surrendered immediately to elements of the 179th Striker Cluster because they had no forces to defend the planet with. This event was interpreted as the unit having been fully destroyed.[4]
When the Fifth Sun Zhang Cadre invaded Itabaiana in 3059 and won the planet in a Trial for Possession of it[5], Muraki led the battered remmants of the Fourth An Ting out of the mountains.[1]
When Sho-sa Matthew Dillahunty, who had won the bid for the planet[5], discovered this, he made a few disparaging remarks to Muraki. That lead to an honor duel in which Muraki thoroughly humiliated Dillahunty before eviscerating him.[1]
Outraged by Muraki's actions the Fifth tore into the Fourth and when the battle was over, one hundred Combine soldiers were dead. For his actions on the massacre, Muraki was awarded the Honor of Wakizashi.[1]
Muraki's answer to the coordinator was that he was already killed in action and could not die agian, and went to request a change for an honorable end against the Combine's enemies. The Coordinator stripped him of his rank and proposed him for the new Star League Defense Force First Royal BattleMech Regiment with a new 'Mech, a stripped down Wolf Trap[6] where his experience gained him the rank of brevet captain in the third battalion.[1]
He used his time in the First to reconstruct his 'Mech to fighting conditions.[1]

Daitama Muraki piloted a custom Wolf Trap which he named Yamaki (Mountain Spirit).[1]
