Cyrus Rutherford was the commanding officer of the Third Battalion of the Fourth Davion Guards during the late Succession Wars Era and Clan Invasion Era.[1]
History
Major Rutherford was known for his vitriolic hatred for the Draconis Combine, which often lead him to unnecessarily engage with Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery forces while losing sight of the Fourth Guards' actual objectives. In a fight, Rutherford would regularly choose to focus entirely on a single foe rather than on commanding his battalion.[1]
BattleMech
Major Cyrus Rutherford piloted a -4D model Rifleman BattleMech during the late Succession Wars. After the Clan Invasion, he upgraded his machine with salvaged equipment that extended his RFL-4D's effective range.[1]
