Description
The Corvus is a light and nimble BattleMech design inspired by the Raven.
Weapons and Equipment
The Corvus is lightly armed, carrying only two pulse lasers and a single autocannon. The 'Mech's mobility is enhanced with jump jets. It carries a target jammer.[1]
Variants
- MechAssault 2
- The Mech swaps the pulse lasers for Alternating Pulse Lasers and the target jammer for a Reactive Armor Shielding (see notes).[2]
Canonicity
- This BattleMech was featured in an official BattleTech product, namely the MechAssault series of computer games.
- By virtue of being an official, albeit not positively canonical product, the game expansion and the 'Mechs presented therein including this one must be considered apocryphal.
Notes
- In an unusual move that goes against the usual BattleTech universe standards 'Mech speeds are expressed in mph rather than km/h, as such the speed figure has been converted to km/h for this article.
- The description of the Reactive Armor Shielding looks very similar to the Ballistic-Reinforced Armor.
