The Corey Militia defended the planet Corey.[1]
History
The Twentieth Avalon Hussars were assigned to the invasion of Corey, and the remaining defenders on the planet could do little to stop them. The biggest problem encountered by the Hussars was a mechanical failure on the Star Lord-class JumpShip FSS Orkney on arriving in the system, a failure that flooded the engineering sections of the JumpShip with poisonous gas and forced the attached DropShips to perform emergency detachments due to the risk of an explosion. After the Orkney was saved by an act of heroism, the battle for control of Corey was positively anticlimactic by comparison.[1]
