History
Though not explicitly named, the mercenary unit Colette's Crusaders was likely included in Gunji-no-Kanrei Theodore Kuritas's machinations to get around his father's Death to Mercenaries edict. Making use of contracts subsidized by ComStar as part of Operation ROSEBUD and secretly routed through Matabushi Incorporated to mask them from the Coordinator and his hardliner supporters, small units of "independent contractors" were employed for minor missions such as pirate hunting or garrison duty on interior worlds which would unwittingly place them right in the path of the attacking Clan invaders.[1]
Coudoux was conquered by Clan Smoke Jaguar in May 3050 during the Second Wave of Operation REVIVAL. The planet was defended by the Crusaders, who chose to make their stand at the Lodio Spaceport. They were destroyed when Alpha Battle Star of First Trinary Battle, Jaguar Grenadiers, quickly overran their position and seized their DropShip as isorla.[2]
