Charles "Danger" Weinert was a notable officer in the Red Lancers during the Dark Age Era.[1]
History
Sao-wei Weinert, a well-connected but remote relative of the Capellan Confederation's House Liao, was one of the first MechWarriors to graduate from the liberated Liao Conservatory of Military Arts in 3135. Officially, Weinert was both a talented MechWarrior and student, although a fire due to unknown causes destroyed his academic records just before he graduated. This event coincided with the opening of the Conservatory's new Weinert Performing Arts Center, a building that cost a hundred million yuan to construct. After graduating, Weinert was issued a brand-new, captured BattleMech.[1]
When Weinert's unit attacked the Federated Suns' world of New Syrtis, he volunteered to defend their field headquarters in the event of any hostile rear area strikes. After performing this duty several times, despite no such attacks occurring, the newly-dubbed "Danger" was transferred to the Red Lancers with his commanding officer's hearty endorsement.[1]
BattleMech
Sao-wei Charles Weinert piloted an -8R model Crusader BattleMech, although he had not used it in combat by the time of his transferal to the Red Lancers.[1]
