Description
The Battle of Dahlgren was a conflict that occurred on Csesztreg II (Dahlgren) in or around 3015 and currently has little information published about it. What is known is Colby's Commandos, under contract to the Lyran Commonwealth, was forced to retreat when a Sword of Light unit dropped in their rear. This retreat forced the Commonwealth to cede a number of border worlds to the Draconis Combine.[1]
Also present at the Battle was Chu-i Zouè Berlioz-Bruun's father, a member of Duke Hassid Ricol's Red Hunter Special Operations Group[2]
Twelve years after this battle, a successful rebellion on Verthandi would see Dahlgren and other worlds in the region erupt into open fighting with Draconis garrisons as tensions still lingered from a generation before.[3]
