Brook Ripken was the commanding officer of the 516th Air Cavalry Regiment of the Thirty-third Avalon Hussars Regimental Combat Team during the late Succession Wars Era and Clan Invasion Era.[1]
History
Leftenant General Ripken's Air Cavalry were exemplars of mobile fire support, often sweeping in after the Thirty-third Hussars' heavier units drove their enemies into flight in order to prevent any from escaping. Ripken was also notable for her decision to fight alongside the members of her regiment, primarily due to the possibility of having her communications intercepted by enemy forces in conjunction with the significant fluidity inherent to VTOL operations. This proved to be a major boon to the pilots of the 516th Air Cav, who fought diligently knowing that their commander was always with them. As a reward for the regiment's excellent combat performance, Ripken received two platoons of Peregrine VTOLS from the Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth's High Command following the War of 3039.[1]

Leftenant General Brook Ripken piloted a Warrior H-7 VTOL prior to the War of 3039. Afterwards, she operated a captured Draconis Combine Peregrine.[1]
