History
MechWarrior Rortugal was best known for being conspicuously lucky when it came to avoiding disaster by the slimmest margins. These strokes of luck included a toppling LoaderMech barely missing him, a dud artillery round directly impacting his BattleMech, and a financial institution collapsing the day following his withdrawal of his money. With each subsequent event, Rortugal's comrades developed deepening superstitions about him, although he remained apparently unaware of his good fortune.[1]
