Betty Kadara was the commanding officer of the Third Canopian Light Horse as of 3050.[2]
History
Major Kadara, serving with the Third Canopian Light Horse, was stationed on Adherlwin in 3050.[2] Following the Clan Invasion, Kadara retained command of the Third Light Horse and was still stationed on Adherlwin by 3054.[3] By 3064, now-Colonel Kadara continued to command the Third Light Horse on Adherlwin. While Kadara had thought that her posting to command of the Third Light Horse would be the apex of her career, the Third's complete lack of combat experience had transformed her dream into a nightmare. None of her efforts to cure the unit's despondency had succeeded—including fifteen separate petitions to her superiors for upgraded BattleMechs or refit kits and turning a blind eye to her armor commander's draconian discipline methods—and each failure seemed to be bringing her closer to a nervous breakdown.[1]
Despite these extreme challenges, Kadara remained in command of the unit in 3067 and was still stationed on Adherlwin.[4]
