The Bell Refit Yards primarily existed to refit Clint BattleMechs.
Overview
Constructed in the mid-3050s to refit old Clints into the CLNT-2-3U variant, the new Bell Refit Yards was built on top of the original Andoran Industries factory complex.[2]
During the Jihad, the Bell Refit Yards expanded production to include the Firebee Primitive BattleMech to provide much-needed weapons to the AFFS.[1] Approximately 20% of their production lines were damaged during the Jihad, and by 3079 their output was 80% of the theoretical maximum.[3]
