Overview
Prelude
In October 3146 Free Worlds League forces launched a counterattack against the Regulan Operation TRIUMVIR. As part of this counterattack, raids-in force were conducted on Wallis and Clipperton.[2]
Battle
On Wallis the First Oriente Hussars faced off against the Thirty-first Regulan Hussars. Regulan forces fell back into the narrow confines of the Ronin Incorporated industrial complex with Oriente forces following behind them. As is common in city fighting, the factories became a bloodbath for both forces though eventually the Regulans retreated. Corporal Jakob Denny, an Oriente scout, was able to loop around the Regulans and disable three retreating BattleMechs. The damage to Ronin Inc. was extensive, with several production lines shut down for repairs.[3][2]
Aftermath
The damaged production lines made Emris IV even more strategically important for the Regulans, which was in turn damaged by the Steel Wolves. In January 3147 Clan Sea Fox instituted an economic interdiction on several Regulan systems, including Wallis which only lifted 22 March 3148, but the damage had already been done. Four months later, the Regulan Fiefs surrendered and rejoined the Free Worlds League.[2][4][5]
