Description
The BattleTech: A Game of Armored Combat 40th Anniversary Edition box set is a physical game box containing necessary pieces, papers and material to play the general tabletop version of BattleTech. The boxed set as a more developed introduction to BattleTech that complements the more compact BattleTech: Beginner Box boxed set (and its successor BattleTech Beginner Box, Second Edition). This box set contains all of the contents of the previous BattleTech: A Game of Armored Combat set (SKU 3500D), but includes additional ilClan-era record sheets, rules, and a separate, additional ilClan era primer. It also features updated box art. All other contents such as the miniatures, fiction novella, miniatures, and maps are identical (including the Griffin card to go with the Starter Set). The rulebook is a 2024 edition with cover art to match the box.
