Asif Cole was a Bloodnamed warrior and the commanding officer of the Lum Garrison Fleet's Beta Star of Clan Snow Raven's Delta Galaxy as of 3061.[1]
History
Star Admiral Asif, serving with Beta Star, was stationed in the Lum system in 3061.[2] By 3067, Asif retained command of Beta Star and was still stationed in the Lum system.[3]
In December 3068, the entire Lum Garrison Fleet was present when a Clan Star Adder naval task force issued a Trial of Possession for Lum's orbit, leading to one of the largest naval engagements in the history of the Clan Homeworlds. The Raven forces suffered heavy losses but won the battle against the Adders, only for a Clan Goliath Scorpion force to arrive and declare another Trial of Possession for the system's naval yards. Star Admiral Thomas Waters of the Garrison Fleet's Alpha Star made a fatal mistake when he bid all of the Snow Raven's in-system assets as the defending force, allowing the Scorpions to target the naval yards in addition to the remaining Raven vessels. After three days of fighting, half of the naval yards were in ruins and every Snow Raven vessel was destroyed, save for those still grounded on Lum. With no chance of winning the Trial, Asif requested hegira on behalf of the remaining Raven DropShips and aerospace fighters, ceding the remnants of the naval yards to the Scorpions.[4]
