Alison Verrochio was the first Armed Forces of the Federated Suns Antlion MechWarrior to kill an enemy Assault BattleMech.[1]
History
When the Draconis Combine raided Dahar IV during the Dark Age Era, Sergeant Verrochio's company was hard-pressed and barely prevented a Naginata from penetrating their lines. When the Combine 'Mech began to withdraw, Verrochio advanced her own machine and engaged, successfully striking the Naginata in its damaged cockpit and killing the MechWarrior within. While Verrochio had only entered the battle at its conclusion, she was still given full credit for eliminating the heavier enemy machine.[1]
