Alexander Hoyt was a Bloodnamed Trueborn Clan Smoke Jaguar MechWarrior during Operation REVIVAL.
History
Little is known about Alexander Hoyt prior to Operation Revival. He had a sibkin, Emil, who served in the same cluster as him until his capture by Clan Ghost Bear.
Turtle Bay Massacre
Alexander Hoyt was one of the warriors who was tasked with suppressing the inhabitants of Edo on Turtle Bay. When Galaxy Commander Cordera Perez gave the order to the Smoke Jaguar Touman to evacuate from the world, Hoyt was fighting a Draconis Panther and disengaged on Perez's orders.[1]
Battle of Luthien
Alexander Hoyt joined Operation Dragonslayer with the rest of his surviving starmates and the Smoke Jaguar Touman. Upon encountering Ezra on Luthien, Jayden developed conflicting thoughts after the former challenged him to a Trial. Hoyt found Jayden in his quarters alone thinking about his former sibkin and decided to talk to him about his own experience. Alexander told him the story about how he got to serve with his close sibkin Emil, while in the same cluster. He claimed that Emil was taken by Clan Ghost Bear's Night Howlers after being made their bondsman and later becoming abtakha. He had to make a difficult choice between serving his Clan or saving his sibkin at the expense of the Smoke Jaguars. Hoyt chose the former option and was sponsored by Elijah Hoyt for the Hoyt Bloodname (which he won) as a reward for his service to Clan Smoke Jaguar. He offered Jayden the same reward should he be victorious in battle, seeing the potential in his Hoyt-Ismiril lineage. He also sympathized with Jayden's hard decision, understanding the bad circumstances he was placed in, while reminding him that he needed to put the Clan before himself. After the Ezra's defeat, Alexander congratulated Jayden for his loyalty to the Smoke Jaguars and comforted him.[2]

BattleMechs
Alexander's 'Mech during Edo was a Mad Dog, however his choice is subsequently player-determinant unless Jayden joins with Ezra.
