Officer Alec Oak was a MechWarrior, who served in the Outworlds Alliance aligned Thermo Police, as of 3058.[2]
History
Oak was initially recruited in the Thermo Police as an eager young man, in the early 3050s, joining its Command Lance in order to be groomed for future leadership. He was injured early in his service, by a deranged survivalist who attempted to target his lancemate Sergeant Thomas Cable with a hidden Man-Pack Particle Cannon, but brushed off this bad fortune.[1]
By 3058, Oak was still in place with the Thermo Police's Command Lance, having picked up a habit of "dancing" his 'Mech for amused crowds in order to make them feel at ease.[2]

Oak was known to have piloted a DV-6M Dervish BattleMech, known as 1-Adam-4.[2]
