Albert Olmstead was a notable lance commander in the First Ghost Regiment during the Republic Age.[1]
History
In 3103, Chu-i Olmstead commanded two lances of assault OmniMechs in a raid against Clan Ghost Bear's weapons stockpiles on Grumium. The Draconis Combine warriors quickly annihilated a Bear Striker Star but were halted after running into a Nova from the Rasalhague Dominion's First Freemen Cluster. After Olmstead's proposed Trial of Possession was refused, the surrounded Ghost MechWarriors used focused fire to down the Freemen's machines in rapid succession. While two of his 'Mechs had been destroyed in the battle, Olmstead and his five remaining men linked up with their DropShip and departed Grumium with several hundred tons of captured Ghost Bear technology.[1][2]
