Plot Summary
On an unknown planet and an unknown date, the Tamar Cavaliers face Clan Jade Falcon's Fifth Battle Cluster. Leutnant-Colonel Jim Reeves fails to get into his assigned position, derailing the Cavaliers' effort to trap the Fifth Battle Cluster and forcing Cavaliers CO Andrew Liddle into a desperate attack through burning terrain. In the ensuing clash, Liddle kills an enemy commander, but the fight continues...
