Plot Summary
From the perspective of Khan of Clan Star Adder Cassius N'Buta, the story narrates the Grand kurultai meeting in 3048 that decided about the number of Clans that would participate in Operation REVIVAL. While the other Clans try to underbid each other, N'Buta proposes a joint operation of all Clans to leverage the individual strengths of each Clan and maximize the probability of success. N'Buta's proposal is largely ignored, and the decision is made in favor of four Invader Clans.
