History

Newly commissioned by 3067, the 1st MacLeod's Regiment was rotated into the Pleiades Cluster alongside elements of the 1st Taurian Lancers and Taurian Guard. [1]

During the fighting against the Federated Suns in the Jihad, the First MacLeod's managed to defend Perdition against the First Davion Guards for a sizable amount of time. Only the arrival of the Twenty-second Avalon Hussars was enough to oust the First MacLeod's from its entrenched positions and, after ten additional days of one-sided fighting, Colonel Monty Scott gave the order for the one surviving battalion to retreat to Grossbach. By 3085, the First MacLeod's Regiment was stationed on Charleston in order to quell local political dissension. While this position on the border slowed the First MacLeod's ability to rebuild, the unit was still able to completely destroy a company of raiders from Pirates Haven.[2]
