History

The homeworlds of the First Bell Training Battalion were Axton and Bell.[1] The unit is only on one of these worlds for approximately one third of the year however. The remainder of the time is spent traveling to and training on the various worlds of the Valexia PDZ. The variety of environments provides a much-needed dose of reality for the students.

The Bell Training Battalion was involved in the fighting against the 5th FedCom RCT on Axton. There they suffered losses from the Fifth's nuclear strikes. The need to replace lost soldiers from other units also thinned their ranks considerably.[2]

Jihad

In 3078, the Academy Appropriations War Powers Act deactivated all the training battalion and public academy cadre units and transferred their men and machines to front-line forces. Their future is unclear.[3]

Dark Age

The First Bell Training Battalion was reactivated in 3136 by Caleb Davion.[4] The unit was stationed on its namesake world in 3145.[5]
