Holly's Hollanders was a mercenary unit during the Dark Age.[1][2]
History
The unit was stationed on Abruzzi in early 3145 to supplement the conventional planetary militia, when a task force from the Capellan Hussars struck the world in a recon raid. The mercenaries were to be the anvil of the Militia as the Militia's Colonel hoped his tanks would be enough to force the Liaos into retreating.
When they did, Holly's Hollanders discovered that a company of thirty-five ton 'Mechs, even attacking from cover, could not be the anvil for over two companies of medium and heavy Capellan Confederation 'Mechs. The Hollanders were annihilated in under two minutes of combat.[1][2]
