The Demeter Militia was the militia unit assigned to defend Demeter.[1]
History
First Succession War
The CCAF raided Demeter in 2812. The Panohai was a BattleMech carrier DropShip of unspecified type that transported at least two aerospace fighters and four 'Mechs in a raid against the AFFS defenders. The ship was attacked by strong aerospace fighter forces and forced to retreat with heavy damage while the Liao 'Mech forces were completely destroyed by the planeteary militia.[2]
Third Succession War
On 23 April 3022, the Demeter Militia suffered an attack by a mercenary unit, the Northstar Irregulars. The militia was defeated without inflicting a single loss on the Irregulars.[1]
