Dain Voss was the commanding officer of the Federated Suns's Alcyone PDZ during the War of 3039.[1]
History
In July 3039, Alcyone was raided by Colonel Marcus Barton's detachment of McCarron's Armored Cavalry, leading to the loss of a thousand tons of materiel and heavy damage to Alcyone's spaceport. When General Voss received reports of subsequent raids on Monhegan and Bethel, he tasked half of the Alcyone Capellan March Militia and the First Kittery Borderers with hunting down the Armored Cavalry—although neither unit managed this feat until the Big MAC got bogged down on Kathil.[1]
