Alexander Rice was an ensign in the Magistracy Armed Forces.[1]
History
Rice took part in the Battle of New Hessen, in 3084. Using a combination of Thunder LRMs and smoke SRMs, he successfully bluffed the ’Mech-less Republic of the Sphere column, which was seeking to lift the siege on the city of Denton, that they faced a lance of BattleMechs. The Republic commander was briefly relieved of command, and Rice was believed to have been promoted.[1]
