Alaski Goods was a little-known interstellar Federated Suns-based trading company during the mid-thirty-first century.[1]
Overview
Alaski trade ships operated between the Federated Suns and Free Worlds League. A Capellan-based corporation, Closehold Firms, wanted to take over Alaski by forcing them into bankruptcy and purchasing them, thereby expanding their holdings into the Federated Suns side of the Federated Commonwealth. To this end, a spy within Alaski was sending them information on upcoming transport runs to which Closehold would use to hire forces to attack the transports and destroy their cargo. This forced Alaski to start hiring mercenaries to protect their shipments.[2]
