The Yed Posterior Militia was the local military force formed by the Republic of the Sphere to defend the world of Yed Posterior.
History
During Clan Wolf's invasion of the Republic of the Sphere, Yed Posterior came under attack in 3137. The planet's Militia chose to use guerrilla tactics to fight against the Wolves, concealing their units within the planet's tumultuous seasonal storms and the industrial tunnel networks located beneath its largest cities. In the city of Henderton, a company of Militia BattleMechs, notably including two MAD-7C Marauders, utilized C3 Computer systems and ECM jamming to frustrate the Wolves' attempts to locate them. Only Khan Alaric Ward's orders to raze the city to the ground succeeded in forcing the Republic troops to surrender.[1]
