Vivian Petty was the commanding officer of the Markesan Operational Area's Kestrel Combat Region as of 3067.[1]
History
Leftenant General Petty, commanding the Kestrel Crucis March Militia, was stationed on Kestrel in 3050 and remained there by 3062.[2][3][4] A career officer whose career stalled after taking command of a March Militia, Petty had long moved past resentment and by the end of 3062 was content with her position. Since her headquarters was a virtual history museum for the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns, Petty turned it into a literal one while simultaneously earning a doctorate in history and sociology. These qualifications made Petty the Crucis March's official historian.[4]
After the Federated Commonwealth Civil War, Petty was promoted to general and given command of the Kestrel Combat Region by 3067.[1]
