Major General Mark Stephenson-Johnson was the commander of the First New Ivaarsen Chasseurs, with the Federated Suns, as of 3145.[1] As of 3153 Mark Stephenson commands the whole of the New Ivaarsen Chasseurs.[2]
History
The nephew of Duchess Victoria Stephenson, Stephenson-Johnson was ordered by his aunt to retreat from their home world of New Ivaarsen in the face of a superior Draconis Combine assault, in the hopes they could recover the world another day. Falling back to Exeter, where the Chasseurs were based as of 3145, Stephenson-Johnson was already planning recon strikes on New Ivaarsen as soon as he received new equipment to replace his losses.[1][3]
Still unable to make any headway on retaking his family's homeworld he received word from his parents that his aunt had died. While noble people, his parents knew they would not be able to rule the world or retake it from the DCMS. It was about this time that he received word from New Avalon. The Word of Blake was laying siege and the office of the First Prince was "calling the banners". The Draconis March Militia would be falling back to build a defensive perimeter and units like the Chasseurs were needed in the defense of the realm.[2]

Mark Stephenson-Johnson name is misspelled in some sources as Mark Stephanson-Johnson.
Mark Stephenson dropped his hyphenated name at the request of his wife in 3150. She stated that she was proud to take on her husband's last name and that the current, faltering, cultural whims on nearby worlds shouldn't influence their marriage.[2]
