BattleIntelligence:WikiProject Cleanup/Text replacement suggestions

This sub-page is to record highly used words (or phrases) that due to any number of reasons need to be replaced or modified. This assists with the cleanup of pages and suggests the use of the text replacement tool.

What is the text replacement tool?

It is the mediawiki text replacement tool given to Senior editors and Admins to replace one text string with another across all regular pages on this wiki. it can:

• Use regular expressions for text replacement. (Example: values of "a(.*)c" for "Original text:" and "ac$1" for "Replacement text:" would replace "abc" with "acb".).
• Replace text in page contents
• Replace text in page titles, when possible
• Announce these edits via Special:RecentChanges and watchlists (which enables easy rollback of items)
• Replace text only in a certain category
• Replace text only in pages with a certain prefix (This refers to namespaces like BattleIntelligence, Template, and/or File and their talk namespaces)
