==Overview==
The W-8 Facilities were built during the [[Jihad]] on the site of [[WC Site OZ-1]], which was damaged during the [[Jihad]]. The plant itself didn't actually manufacture 'Mechs, rather it assembled them from components shipped in from [[W-7 Facilities]] on [[Weingarten]]. The only difference between the output of the two facilities is that 'Mechs assembled at W-8 had a higher amount of residual radioactivity.<ref name=O:TCp28/>
