Do we have any references to confirm that 2013 was the year when this first appeared? I have found items that indicate that it was available in 2014, but I have not found anything that shows availability in 2013.<br />

Also [https://web.archive.org/web/20140601034115/http://www.catalystgamelabs.com/ Catalyst Game Labs page from June 2014] reports availability this BattleTech Introductory Box Set at your local games store (in the cycling set of banner ads). But the [https://web.archive.org/web/20140211221856/http://www.catalystgamelabs.com/ Feb 2014 version] does not. Also compare this [https://web.archive.org/web/20140515044933/http://bg.battletech.com:80/?page_id=175 page from May 2014] with [https://web.archive.org/web/20140104114314/http://bg.battletech.com:80/?page_id=175 its Jan 2014 version]. I realize that this could simply be a lag in the updating of the webpages, so it is not conclusive. But it suggests that the first appearance might not have been until 2014. Also, for reference's sake, here is a link to an article that has a side note indicating that it was at the printers in Dec. 2013.
