The Falcon Merchant Factor, [[Marena]] was of the last ones. After the implosion of disintegration of the [[Clan Jade Falcon]] Occupation Zone into the chaotic [[Hinterlands]], she quickly took the planet [[Alyina]], where founded her own Mercantile state, the Alyina Mercantile League. To distance it from its Clans origins, Marena renounced to her title of Merchant Factor and created a new one: the Syndic. The exact attributions of the charge are unknown, but as Marena had been Clan all her life, and feel a deep admiration for [[Clan Sea Fox]], it was probably inspired in the title of [[Khan]]. In the first year of the AML existence, Marena didn't even choose the equivalent of a [[saKhan]].
