==History==
Born in the [[Federated Suns]]' [[Outback]], [[Sergeant]] Williamson spent his developing years sniping at farm pests on [[Keuterville]] with a bolt-action rifle. When he decided to leave the Outback, it was his marksmanship experiences that earned Williamson a place in the Seventh Syrtis Fusiliers' sharpshooter training program. Williamson furthered his training by being one of the first snipers to volunteer for battle armor service and he soon became the most skilled operator in his [[platoon]], demonstrating his effectiveness during repeated raids into the occupied [[New Syrtis]] salient. Williamson took every opportunity he could to eliminate [[Capellan Confederation]] soldiers, whether they were enlisted men or officers, with his sniping attacks having an eighty-three percent overall success rate. When not engaged in active operations, he preferred to continue practicing on a firing range with a bolt-action rifle similar to the one he utilized as a youth.<ref name=TRO45p6/>
